3. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit, the server automatically stores technical access data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the referring page. This is necessary for secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest. The connection is encrypted via TLS (https).

4. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address, name and message to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for partnership enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The mailbox is hosted by IONOS. We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Embedded YouTube videos (only after a click)

Some pages show videos from our YouTube channel. Until you click “Play”, you only see a thumbnail hosted on our own server, and no data is sent to YouTube. Only your click loads the YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google then receives in particular your IP address, technical information about your browser and device, and the address of the page. YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies during playback. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), under which Google is certified. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking “Play” (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Consent applies to that video only; reloading the page deactivates the player again. 6. Links to YouTube and partner links

Our pages contain links to our YouTube channel and partner/referral links marked with *. No data is sent to these providers when you simply view our pages. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website, and the provider’s privacy policy applies. With partner links the provider can see that you came from us; if you sign up or book, we may receive a commission or bonus at no extra cost to you. See Transparency & ads.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Just send us an email. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

8. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

9. Changes

Before introducing new features (such as a contact form or analytics), we will update this policy. Services requiring consent will only be loaded after you agree.
